Description
My belated june submission for Endangered Art Project 2012 [link]
Alpine musk deer (Moschus chrysogaster):
It is occurs the highlands of central China, south and west to the Himalayas. It looks like a small deer with long upper canines that are visible even when the mouth is closed. It's tail is hairless except for a small tuff at the end, and it has long "hare-like" ears.
Endangered because of poaching animals for their musk and the destruction of natural habitats both by livestock and by local people who collect bamboo for domestic use.

Watercolour, yay!
